About Moi

Moi, je suis-- oh, the hell with it! Maybe someday... I'm William Alexander, author, IT director, and - mostly importantly -- aspiring French speaker. I've decided, at age 57 58, to take my last best shot at becoming fluent in French. I had a few years in junior high and high school, but hated language and quit after the tenth grade. Who knew that a decade or so later I'd fall in love with France?
Certainly, learning a second language is not easy, and learning it in middle age is even less easier, but I'm spending 1-1/2 to 2 hours a day with it. I've got all the major software products -- Rosetta Stone, Fluenz, Tell Me More (and more) -- plus podcasts, social media, and weekend immersion classes, and TV5MONDE (the French-language television network) all lined up.
I'm also the author of two memoirs: the best-selling The $64 Tomato and 52 Loaves: A Half-Baked Adventure
My website is WilliamAlexander.com. You can also find me in all the usual places:
